It's a good deal for anyone who hasn't ordered it already! I wonder if you order it from TFAW it will have a lower number. Probably. Oh well, the cost of supporting local businesses.
For Mother of Mountains, I ordered one copy from TFAW and one from my local store. The thing I disliked about the TFAW order was that I had to make sure my checking account balance stayed high enough to cover the debit charge while waiting for them to bill my account when the book became available, about a week or so after my local store received their copies.
mmm.... i think im going to buy the TPB jejeje more cheap but i have a question thers some thing special about the HC or is only the hardcover ??????????
I just posted a side-by-side comparison of the re-drawn "Tomoe's Story" pages 1 and 9 with the original pages from UYCS#1. It definitely has more detail than the original. In some cases the pages were completely re-designed (page 9). Check it out.

Abayo,
Marchino
Well, first of all, it's a lot sturdyier than the TPB; having an almost seven-year-old daughter who is leafing through and fro them means additional tear and wear, so I look out for the HCs
Then the HCs have that tip in page (which one has yet to be decided), which you can see in the Coming Up section...
Oh, ah, let's not forget the end papers and the embrossment of the cover, featuring additional art by Sensei...
But you are right, it's more expensive (almost five times the cost of a TPB), so it's more a collector's item...
Greetings from overseas

Looking good... and it means there will still be worth in finding the original colour versions too
now im on a comflic what i buy??' the TPB is cheaper but the HC have a lot of things????? what i do whats better for you guys???
Both the HC and TPB will have the story in black and white. Mayhem was referring to the 3 Color Specials that Fantagraphics published almost 20 years ago. Those stories will be reprinted for the first time (and in black and white) in UY Book 22.
I'll bring a few copies of Color Specials 2 & 3 to San Diego.
