Hey all, I was just curious who else here dreams being a big hot shot comic book guy. I know since Middle school/ Junior high I have wanted to be a comic artist, but not sure how to go about getting in the business or if I am good enough. I have ideas, drawings, and have attempted to work out pages and panels.
Now this is my first year to ever go to a comic con, so I am goign to finally check out the scene there, but still just curious who else shares my dreams and ambitions, yet have no idea where to start or go?
I want to write a comic book someday. Indy stuff like Gene Luen Yang or Derek Kirk Kim. But family, work and volunteering take priority. Maybe when I retire. Peace, maka
