We were in Japan around the same time!
I got back earlier this week (the 2nd), but am still catching up.
What a great picture with the Usagi action figure. I love it!
I'm going to really enjoy viewing your photo album.

I'll try to get going on mine this weekend.
We started outside of Tokyo, did our 2 days of sword training, then went to Kyoto. We had side trips to Osaka, Himeji, and Nara. It was an awesome trip and the cherry trees were amazing! And as always, the food is wonderful, too.

I went to Tokyo in August 1999. I was extremely fortunate to stay with the family of a friend from school. It's just so expensive that I never would've been able to afford it otherwise.

The best part of the trip was a weekend excursion to Kyoto where my friends and I checkes out the many shrines, pagodas and even a real ninja hideout.

I hope to go back one day.
