Re: A few questions about original art
Congrats on the grail page! I'd love to get an original Mignola Hellboy page, but am unfortunately not made of money.
If Sensei Sakai ever decides to redo a page (like he did for Senso), I'd also love to pick up an unpublished page of his as well.

Re: A few questions about original art
Thanks! Mignola pages are indeed very expensive. I'd love to get one, but they're out of my price range. Maybe someday...jabba359 wrote:Congrats on the grail page! Related to the topic of Mignolaverse art, there's a 20% off sale in Tyler Crook's gallery on Cadence Comic Art: http://www.cadencecomicart.com/artist.php?artist=69. I think it goes through the 9th of November. I'd be tempted to get something, but I'm satisfied with my new page.
An unpublished Usagi page would be great! I greatly admire Maka's page from Senso.

Re: A few questions about original art
Congrats Lobster Johnson on your grail page! It's always great to get a grail.
I am with you two on the unpublished Usagi page.
How do we decide who gets to buy the next one? A sword fight on top of a mountain?

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.Usagi-chan wrote:INCONCIEVABLE!

To get the thread back on track a bit, there's some new art from James Harren on http://www.felixcomicart.com.
Re: A few questions about original art
I had a chance to purchase an unpublished page back in 2008. At the time I wasn't aware of how rare they were and passed on it. About a minute later a fellow Dojo member stopped by Stan's table and purchased it.

Thank you everybody. I appreciate the congratulations.
Re: A few questions about original art

I miss Sterling. I always thought he needed more "screen time" or at least a one page gag like Rufferto had in the Groo comic. Speaking of Rufferto, does anyone know if those Rufferto pages were ever collected anywhere? Somebody had to have scanned them in somewhere.
Cool, is that what you look like?Maka wrote:One of my thrills - being made a character in the Crogan universe and decoder ring theatre radio drama podcast.
What happened to The Crogan Adventures? I got the first 3 hardcovers and haven't seen anything from Mr. Schweizer since.

Chris is working on a new children's series call The Creeps. The first book is out and he is working on the books two and three now. He also recently had a major medical emergency and was in the hospital for almost a week. But he is back to cartooning again. The latest Crogan news is Oni is publishing the first three books in full color.Gaffey wrote:What happened to The Crogan Adventures? Re: A few questions about original art
Commissioned this a couple months back from artist Emil Cabaltierra and it just got finished. I'm super happy with how it turned out!
