thank you
While I buy from many places for these I got exceedingly lucky on eBay the past few month as most of the books came up there.

Only 2 books above I did not buy on eBay - the Albedo 2 was won at a ComicLink auction and the Critters 6 was a private sale where I managed to make an educated guess who had graded the book based upon the time it was added in the CGC census and contacted that person and arranged to buy it before the made it available for sale more widely.

It’s done. I can’t believe it is finally finished. When I started this archival project I did not know if I would ever finish it. A big thanks to McDuck Enterprises pointing out to me that a Doomsday Squad 3 in CGC 9.8 had become available for sale.

It is finally complete:

Albedo Anthropomorphics (volume 1)
1) Nov/1984 - issue #2 - Usagi Yojimbo - 10 in 9.8
2) Apr/1985 - issue #3 - Lone Rabbit and Child part 1 - 8 in 9.8
3) Jul/1985 - issue #4 - Lone Rabbit and Child part 2 - 10 in 9.8

Critters
4) Jun/1986 - issue #1 - Bounty Hunter - 11 in 9.8
5) Aug/1986 - issue #3 - Horse Thief - 5 in 9.8

Doomsday Squad (volume 2)
6) Oct/1986 - issue #3 - Village of Fear - 7 in 9.8 (Need)

Usagi Yojimbo Summer Special
7) Oct/1986 - issue #1 - The Confession (and reprints) - 14 in 9.8

Critters
8 ) Dec/1986 - issue #6 - A Quiet Meal 1 in 9.8
9) Jan/1987 - issue #7 - Blind Swordspig - 1 in 9.8
10) Mar/1987 - issue #10 - Homecoming part 1 - 1 in 9.8
11) Apr/1987 - issue #11 - Homecoming part 2 - 4 in 9.8
12) Jul/1987 - issue #14 - Bounty Hunter 2 - 4 in 9.8

From here Usagi has his own title
Usagi Yojimbo (volume 1)
13) Jul/1987 - issue #1 - Samurai part 1 81 in 9.8

(I got a Cutey Bunny #4 just for good measure too).

It's hard to believe that there are less Albedo 3 CGC 9.8s than there are Albedo 2 CGC 9.8s. Considering 3 is Tomoe's first appearance and there are 10,000 copies I'd think more books would be slabbed.

I feel like these books should be in a museum to archive and preserve Stan's creation where they can be enjoyed by many instead of just by me. I view this an archival set that I am just the temporary custodian of as opposed to being the collector that owns them.

Before I posted I did update the number of 9.8s of each issue. It is heard to believe that three of the issues still only have a single copy in 9.8.
