Hijiki in color?

Post by Dranatha »

Hi,

I was surfing this site and found a page called "Hijiki's Fortress" in the background there is a color picture of Hijiki. Where did this picture come from? Who did the color? It looks like a colored version of the Hijiki pictured in Albedo NR4. It's a cool pic!

Thanks,
Dranatha

Yes, that background was lifted from Hikiji's first appearance in Lone Rabbit and Child. It was mirrored so he could face to the right of the screen, and his kimono was altered so it crosses left over right (right over left is intended for the deceased). Then it was colored and added to the background. The mods and color were done by Becky-chan.

Becky-Chan (AKA ShadowWing) has her own web-site with notes on all the Usagi artwork she has colored and allowed to be used on the Dojo site.

For even more Usagi-in-color, check out UYD-Hatamoto Naomi-chan's site SunWolf Designs at http://web2.airmail.net/naomi/ which has , dare I say, the best colored Usagi art I have ever seen. Her stuff graces several pages of the UYD, and is also availabe in the UYD's downloads section in the form of UY desktop themes and screensaver, much of which was put together by Daimyo Becky. http://usagiyojimbo.com/downloads.html
