Hello UY fans,

I just put down $25 towards supporting my local comic book store and picked up the latest Overstreet Comic Book Price guide #36. Here's few prices for us UY collectors to refer to:

#3 G (3) VG (6) FN (9) VF (15) VF/NM (20) NM- (24)
#4 G (3) VG (6) FN (9) VF (18) VF/NM (24) NM- (30)

Critters
#1 NM- (10)
3,6,5,8,9 NM- (7)
All other UY issues are listed at NM - ($2.50) except for 38 (3) and 50 (7)

UY Vol 1
#1 G (1) VG (2) FN (3) VF (5) VF/NM (7) NM- (9)
2-9 NM- (4)
10,11 NM- (6) - TMNT crossover

Color special 1, 2 and 3 NM- $3.50

UY Vol 2

Happy collecting.

Peace,

Maka

BTW if anyone is serious about selling their NM- copy of the first appearance of UY for $350, give me a ring.

I've found that the old Fantagraphics books are really expensive for some reason. Going for like six bucks or more for even the later issues.

I bought the Summer Special (I think that's what it's called) last year for $8. I thoroughly enjoyed it! A bargain at twice the price!

I'll admit, I know absolutely nothing about pricing comic books. Basically, if it's within my means, I get it. That's why I like TPB's so much. Several issues for a reasonable price!

I've still got a lot of reading ahead of me!

Comic prices are all arbitrary, sometimes its based on the unique nature of the book, like Action #1 and such, but mostly people just pull a value out of the hat.

And don't get me started on the Comic Grading crap either...I could rant for a couple pages about that scam.
