Adventures of Young Katsuichi

Post by roel »

I was just re-reading issue #71. I really love the design of "young" Katsuichi and reading about his younger days. I think it would be really interesting to have a six issue story arc on his adventures when he was younger. It would be interesting to see the other sensei's he trained under and how he eventually came up with his unique style. It would also be nice to see what happened when he visited Fujiyama sensei's deathbed since in issue #57, Katsuichi mentioned that things came to a boil when he went back to pay his respects.

It was nice to see a young Katsuichi who was full of life and who smiled a little bit more. katsuichi was so bad_ _ _ when he was younger and I'd love to see more adventures of him when he was still a samurai in training. (He just looks so cool shaven and with sideburns.) Oh by the way does anyone know why he didn't have a mon crest in issue #71? Is it because he's still in training and has no clan affiliation yet?
