Cast for live-action Simpsons movie

I enjoy this cast photo for an imaginary live-action Simpsons movie:

I particularly like Stephen Colbert as Smithers and Ricky Gervais as Chief Wiggum. A funny thing about this picture is that a few of these people have actually been guests on The Simpsons. When I listened to Simpsons writer Mike Reiss speak at the university in my hometown about six years ago, he mentioned that Vin Diesel would be his choice to play Homer in a live-action Simpsons movie. :D

Wow. I can't say I really cared for it, but I guess they do look like the Simpsons.

I'd be more interested to see a live action take on them where we put in people of similar physical properties, though regular looking, to represent the characters instead of them being yellow like the cartoon. I don't think I'd feel so disturbed to watch it.

I never thought about it, but Colbert does look like Smithers. I bet he be a great Smithers too if ever approached to play the role. lol
