Sensei,
Your website says you will be appearing at the Pasadena Obon Festival this weekend. Will you have a booth like you do at Comic - Con? Will you be selling Usagi books, t-shirts, original art and other awesome Usagi merchandise? I wasn't able to go to Comic- Con this year so I have some extra money. Congratulations on your Eisner award.

If it is similar to the the time I went, Stan will have a table and will be selling UY books and is willing to sign books you bring. At most signings, you can pm Stan to see if he can bring a specific item you want (sketchbook #10, etc.). The time I went, Disney artist Willie Ito was tabling next to Stan. I didn't know who he was and Stan introduced me. That was really cool because Willie was a trailblazer and did famous work in animation that I knew but didn't know he had a part in it.Spam Musubi #7 wrote:Sensei,

The Obon part is fun too. They teach the everyone how to do the traditional Obon dances and everyone dances around a tower together. You can just watch but my family enjoyed dancing with everyone. They also have Japanese food and items for sale. Enjoy!
Peace, maka

I will be there as a guest of Heritage Source Books. I will sign books, either those you bought from them or you brought from home, but will not be selling anything unless it is something HS does not sell and if you had made prior arrangements with me.Spam Musubi #7 wrote:Sensei,

The Obon part is really neat. The Dancing Elvis-es might be there. They usually have taiko drumming as well.
