Just ot of curiousity...any plans for a Katsuichii, Lone Goat team-up/meating? That would be a meeting of the minds...

I'd like to see a story much like the DBC where we've got a handful of the "wandering" UY characters whose paths all cross (Gen, Stray Dog, Lone Goat and Kid, Inazuma, Chizu, Kitsune...)

Yeah, and have it be like a "Cheers" episode: they'll all meet in a tavern and the "Where Everybody Knows Your Name" music will play in the background...

jk.

There was sort of an Usagi/Kenichi/Jotaro team-up against Jei already, eh?

Hmmm. Injured Komori ninja and the husband component of the woodcutters, using their combined unique skilled to escape the Tangled Skein. THERE'S a goofy team-up.

Ninja: Look out, you fool! (uses wing-blade to cut big weird bug in two)Ahg, my bad ankle!
Woodcutter: Ah-hah! There's less moss on this side of the horrible tree with a face on it! That means south is over there!

hey takematsu,
what issue is that i like to see all three join forces. i never knew Kenichi and usagi team up. i know kenichi is usagi's rival and he took usagi's children sweetheart away from him. but it would be a cool fathers and son moment.

I really should do this from home.... [One trip to the Fantagraphics site to stare at covers later] OK, I'm pretty sure that the first time is in Book One, in the story that introduces the Mogura ninja. The other one is in Book Six, when Jei is lurking around gunning for Usagi. In both of them, Jotaro does the "Amazing Boy Hostage" act, although I think he does bite a Mogura in the first one. Not exactly a stunning use of training, but he was pretty young at the time.

...and yes, if memory serves, there was some poignancy in each.
