Not posative, but I believe this came with the first Usagi Yojimbo Cold-Cast Statue from Dark Horse (2000)

If you are a completist, which I know you are, you'll have to track down all the Maverick finger puppets. I gave up on getting a set of each so I might have some you need.

I think there are Dark Horse versions and there are Maverick versions of all five finger puppet cards, with the Dark Horse versions lacking branding at the top of the card and instead putting the Dark Horse logo underneath the character name, which slides the chop logo over. The Maverick cards say "Dark Horse Maverick" at the top (like your Tomoe) and just the chop logo centered underneath the character name. Besides what you have pictured, I have an Usagi and Gen with the Maverick layout like your Tomoe.

I just looked in my collection: I have the Maverick cards (Usagi, yojimbo, Tomoe, and Spot). Missing the Gen Maverick card but have two of the plain one. All the plain ones are signed. I must have won these from a Usagi Trivia contest that Jabba ran. Peace, maka

I love our Dojo team spirit! I was doing some digging (research) and came up with the same results as what you guys are saying - there were two 'series' of 5 cards, one DH Maverick and the other DH Comics.

It looks like I'll have to be on the hunt for a few cards to make things right!

According to a post I made in 2007, I had 10 cards and Tomoe was the only Marverick card I had. Unfortunately I can't find them. I recall throwing cards away after the hurricane, but I didn't think it was the finger puppets.
