I got to go to the opening/reception for Stan at JANM tonight-- wonderful exhibit of his work, and the film was brilliant. I wish it'd been a little longer. But it's very very good.
Tomorrow is the official opening. If you live in the L.A. area or are in town, it's a free event tomorrow, sponsored by Target. Take advantage of this and go see "The Year of the Rabbit: Usagi Yojimbo". They have a special t-shirt for the event, and naturally I got it! They also had the latest book available before it's officially out.

Steve said the t-shirts will be added online in due course. Like the photo Cynthia, although I apologise in advance, it made me think of a certain Weebls animation

here is a short but nice video of how SWEET the interns at janm painted a giant usagi on the wall.
incredible!I still don't know for sure HOW they did so accurately, even if the design were to have been pre-drawn on the wall and they just followed a pencil or something, it really came together well!
