I got to go to the opening/reception for Stan at JANM tonight-- wonderful exhibit of his work, and the film was brilliant. I wish it'd been a little longer. But it's very very good.

Tomorrow is the official opening. If you live in the L.A. area or are in town, it's a free event tomorrow, sponsored by Target. Take advantage of this and go see "The Year of the Rabbit: Usagi Yojimbo". They have a special t-shirt for the event, and naturally I got it! They also had the latest book available before it's officially out.

It was something like 18 or 20 dollars. They're selling them at the museum. They might have them online at their store. I'll go check.

Not for sale online apparently. Ask Stan if he'll have some to sell in San Diego. Or-- I could try to get you one later (they're not that far from me).

Steve said the t-shirts will be added online in due course. Like the photo Cynthia, although I apologise in advance, it made me think of a certain Weebls animation

here is a short but nice video of how SWEET the interns at janm painted a giant usagi on the wall.
incredible!I still don't know for sure HOW they did so accurately, even if the design were to have been pre-drawn on the wall and they just followed a pencil or something, it really came together well!
