Okay, I've now been able to obtain every Usagi story Steve has listed in his earlier post in this thread except:

Hebi / Snakes and Blossums
The Treaty (Shell Shock)
Tsuru (Dark Horse Extra)
A Lesson in Courtesy (Dark Horse Extra)
The Guardian (Trilogy Tour 2)
The Leaping Ninja (Oni Double Feature)
The Tanuki Daimyo's Candy (Nocturnals: Troll Bridge)
Ninja Hunt (More Fund Comics)

Are there plans to reprint any of these as back stories in the regular comic (like was done for Return to Adachigahara Plains)? If not, are all of these stories worth hunting down? I'd imagine I could locate them all if I was willing to spend enough. I just want to know if it's worth it.

Thanks!

Of course every Usagi Yojimbo story is worth hunting down! There are only a couple on your list which have not been reprinted in a Usagi tpb.

Ok, here we go....

1.) "Hebi" and "Courage of the Plum" were reprinted as "Snakes and Blossoms" in Book 11: Seasons

2.) "The Treaty" was only reprinted in s/n hardcover form.

3.) "Tsuru" was reprinted in Book 14: Demon Mask

4.) "A Lesson in Courtesy" was reprinted in Book 17: Duel at Kitanoji

5.) "The Guardian" was reprinted, in color, in the 20th Anniversary Art of Usagi Yojimbo Coffee Table Book, available in both hardcover and paperback....

6.) "The Leaping Ninja" was reprinted in Book 14: Demon Mask

7.) "The Tanuki Daimyo's Candy" (an unofficial title for Stan's segment of an issue long story) has never been collected in a Usagi Yojimbo book, but it has been reprinted in a Nocturnals collection but I do not recall the title.

8.) "Ninja Hunt" - I could have sworn this story was reprinted in one of the books, but when I checked, it was not included in the list I had compiled recently of the contents of the various books. Most likely an mistake on my part and I would appreciate the information if anyone can provide it.

Thanks for the info!

Love your usage of Usagi at the computer from the back of the new sketchbook.

Every year at San Diego a person commissions a drawing of one of my characters at the computer. The first was Usagi, then Gen, Tomoe, and finally Jei (spreading viruses, of course). A motif in all the drawings are those little bobble heads on the shelves.

Somehow, my favorite part is that he isn't wearing his sandles. He just looks so darn comfortable at that computer, like it's his natural habitat :)
