@ morna-san: See what I mean? Just a little pebble thrown down the slope, and now there are half a dozen people anxiously looking in their calendar...

I talked to Sergio, and he didn't know about it either. However, if there is an invitation, we'll both accept. I tried e-mailing the con at the info@motorcitycomics address, but it came back as undeliverable. I contacted Guy Davis, and, hopefully, he'll give me their contact information.
It will be a busy month for Sergio. Kansas City at the beginning of May (I had to decline), and the NCS Reuben Weekend in Orlando at the end (I doubt I'll attend, even though it might be a good opportunity to wear my tux again).

Yaay! I e-mailed Guy too but haven't had a response back yet. Oh yes, now that I look I do have a response but he doesn't say anything other than he hopes you are coming. I fail at networking yet again! I might just have to resort to trying their phone number tomorrow.
I'm really glad you're into going! I am really looking forward to meeting you and I hope to acquire a piece of your original artwork. I love the line quality you acheive and the textures are wonderful and rich... not to mention the delightful characters... Usagi with that awesone fierce pissed off look! mah! beautiful beautiful work

Gary and I have just rented Seven Samurai, Ran and ZAITO INO!!! I mean Zatoichi. These are totally new to us but I gather from browsing around here all day that at least two of them are seminal works in the genre! I'm pumped!

Guy provided me with the Motor City Con's e-mail address, and I've already sent them a letter.morna-san wrote:Yaay! I e-mailed Guy too but haven't had a response back yet.
