Stan, are you going to be there both on Saturday and Sunday?
It looks like I'm going to be there on Sunday, but if you aren't going to be there on Sunday, I'm ditching my friends and coming Saturday by myself if I have to. :-)

Thanks,

MikeM

I should be there all days. My flight back to LA will probably be early Sunday evening though, so I will be leaving the con mid-afternoon.

Now that I know I'm going to be there, I hope you'll be bringing an assortment of prints and cover art. I'm assuming you've sold the cover to Usagi #93 by now, but if you haven't, I would love to own it.

And I still need Shellshock #1, if you have any copies left.

That cover was sold long ago. I tried looking for Shellshock for Cynlee before last SD Con, and could not find copies. I know I have them, so I'll see if I can dredge up a couple.

I dont mean to be rude, but how much does original art and covers go for approximately? I need to convert money from Canadian funds to American before the con, so Im trying to figure out how much I should convert.

Thanks and hope I didnt offend anyone.

Con drawings, like those that are published on the back covers of the comics are about $100. They are on 11x14 acid-free strathmore bristol board.

Covers run about $400 and up, depending upon the detail, subject matter, how it looks, etc.

Paintings run about $800 and up.

I do not sell published story pages (with one exception).

Thanks! Now I'll have to tell the members of the dA Usagi club soon, so they could make a note and see if they can make it or not :D

Would someone be able to pick up 2 copies of sketchbook 4 for me. If not I'll just have to wait until Budplant gets it.

Stan Sensai,

Do you have finished original covers (colored by Tom Luth) for sale, or are those in his possession?

I would love to own the colored cover for Usagi #103.

Tom used to watercolor photocopies as color guides for the printer. No one works that way any more, though. All coloring is done on computer, so there is no longer any original color art. It is much easier to make changes with the computer, and the colorist is able to do the separations himself.
