Actually, the signing I attended in Paris was a mere year ago (tempus fugit; I would have thought it several years, too, if it were not for my younger child being born afterwards, celebrating her first anniversary end of November).
My wife commented on that fact saying she hoped I might not be tempted to travel across Europe to see Stan Sakai next year (I would not mind making it an annual ritual to meet with Sensei; but she's got her hands on the purse... and it's good that she has...
)

There is a mistake in my travel report, pointed out by my friend Pau.
Faustino's favorite restaurant is not "Cerramos Los Domingos por Descanso". The real name is just an article followed by the name. I did see those words just outside the establishment and figured that was its name. What I had written translates as, "We are closed Sundays to rest."
Man, I've got to learn Spanish.
