Thats like in the movie "zatoichi vs yojimbo" where yojimbo thinks he stabs zatoichi but he just stabs his sword into his own scabberd that zatoichi took from him in the battle,very cool fight,verry funny to,love it,is this where you got the idee from Stan Sakai ? there is another Usagi yojimbo story that starts just like the beginning of this movie, where its raining and Usagi wears a straw coat and hat just like zatoichi,its so cool to see these amazing movies and then find it back in Usagi yojimbo.

That is true. My friend bought that movie for me three years ago. I never tire of it. Great film.

My 9 year daughter, Angela, read this on-line comic last night. She was singing the song (as only kids can) at the end very sweetly. It was very cute.

And never in Poland i guess...i have no even one color uy story...Mr. Sakai do you have contact with Egmont Could they print something colored???

The only color stories Egmont has access to are the very few that were published by Dark Horse. The printing films for the Mirage issues were destroyed, and they never had the license to publish the Fantagraphics issues (Mandragora did).

I was hoping that Egmont would publish The Art of UY, but I think it would be too expensive for them to do so. I hope they will publish the new color graphic novel Usagi Yojimbo: Yokai.

Oh, Thank You, It's goot to know, im in contact with egmont, im often asking them about releasing of uy - im trying to push them with it, but i didnt knew about these right....mandragora is half dead, that's what im sure.

Yeah they seem to be publishing six issue batches. So with this being #18, it'll be in the third compilation - the second is scheduled for release next month so I had a look on DH's site.

I believe the issue of DH Presents with Usagi is scheduled for June. There will be a wraparound variant cover that I did featuring Usagi, Dinosaurs, and King Kong.

Usagi, Dinosaurs, and King Kong - Cant wait - sounds like xmas comes early this year - and while Im at it I would like to say many thanks in advance to Stan Sakai for what is shaping up to be a fantastic year for our favorite comic - a couple of collections, some color storys, a poster, a wrap around cover as well as the regular book- yeah-yeah-yeah (clapping) and thanks!
