Cool, Maka -- good to know! I had that idea and was chuckling to myself over it, and was debating whether or not to draw it. I guess my rule is, "If it makes me laugh, it will probably make some other people laugh."
That, I guess is a paraphrase for Stan's method of making the kind of comics he likes to read.

A review of Eclectic Comics #1 and #2 appears at http://www.opticalsloth.com/?p=3773. It's always interesting to see how my work is perceived by others. It's even good to hear the criticism, since friends are usually too nice to point those things out. Comics appreciation is subjective, so what one person likes about something just might be what someone else hates. As the Amish say, "He who builds to every man's advice ends up with a crooked house." So I guess you take what you think you can use and discard the rest.

I discovered a resource I like. It's called ComicsCareer.Com
Every day they ask a different cartoonist ten questions. The questions are always the same, but the answers are always different. What can we say? We have different drummers.
Today was my day. Check it out here:

I mentioned Stan and this forum in that interview above, by the way.
Here is an article about my comics that appeared on the front page of our local paper today.
