Albedo NR 3 value?
My LCS owner gave me a copy of the usagi Summer special #1 and color special #2-4
He also has a very nice copy of Albedo NR 3 (vf-nm) he offered it to me for $30.

Re: Albedo NR 3 value?
Wow, that's awfully generous for a comic shop. I hope they were in decent condition. If they were in NM condition that's about a $15+ value though prices vary on places like Ebay. I'm looking in the Overstreet Comic book price guide #38. #39 just came out this spring. I doubt any UY values have changed much. The only one that gets a lot of action is, obviously, Albedo #2 for $550 or more in NM ( I think every one I've seen sold in the last year in about NM condition has been for over $700.bayard073 wrote:My LCS owner gave me a copy of the usagi Summer special #1 and color special #2-4He also has a very nice copy of Albedo NR 3 (vf-nm) he offered it to me for $30.

Anyways, back to your question. The Overstreet has Albedo #3 at $27 in VF/NM condition. But, it can be found fairly easily on Ebay (with some patience) for less than $15 with shipping included in about the same condition. If you did buy it, the combined value of the other issues he gave you (if they were in VF or better condition) plus the Albedo #3 would be a good deal.

I think I paid somewhere between $20 and $30 for Albedo #3 back in the early 90's. I bought it fairly early on in my Usagi reading / collecting phase, because I had ben a Groo reader for quite a while befor starting Usagi, and Albedo #3 has a great sketch in the letter column by Sergio Aragones featuring Groo and Usagi.
