It didn't say how many copies would be signed and numbered. I'm sure Mr. Sakai can help us out with this one, however.

Who-ever the person is at TFAW who posts the items to the web-page, they most likely just used the same desciption for the regular edition as that provided for the signed edition.

Sorry for the bump, but has there been any news on this collection? Amazon has it listed as due at the end of May 2009, but it is still in pre-order status.

Thank you.

Hmm, I don't have any of the Fantagraphics UY trades and really want them to complete my collection. Money aside, what would you go for - the separate trades or this collection?

I'm leaning towards the collection (cheaper, more convenient) but I'm worried that all 7 trades collected in 2 hardcovers is going to make for a bulky couple of books. And I think separate trades would go nicely with the DH trades I already have. But then again, to get all 7 for such a great price in such a wonderful format...

Arggh, I hate making decisions...

Both would be nice but are not really affordable for me, especially given the price of such things here in Australia.

Are you referring to the Complete Fantagraphics edition? It was announced at Comic-con that it has been delayed until fall 2010.

I have had a copy of Usagi Yojimbo: The Special Edition from Fantagraphics on order through Amazon since it was first listed back in 2008.

Then, in May or June, I received a message saying the estimated arrival date had changed and that I would be notified by email when a new estimated shipping date became available.

I just received an email from Amazon with their new estimated arrival date.
Hello from Amazon.com.

We now have delivery date(s) for the order you placed on October 23 2008 (Order# --------------):

Stan Sakai (Author) "Usagi Yojimbo: The Special Edition"
Estimated arrival date: December 07 2009 - December 11 2009
Got to love Amazon! They do try!
