aha!....these are neat news to me.....thank you for letting me know!
the comic books that mean a great deal to me were actually mainly american products, teenage mutant ninja turtles, usagi yojimbo....so in looking for my beginning I automaticly looked to my favourites and forgot about the well known work next to my door;).....
these few sentences do also clear some doubts of mine about not self-publishing....but of course I will check everything carefully first before I decide anything....
again, really nice of you to spend your time helping me!

Katana Length
Mr. Sakai,
I have been curious about the way you draw the swords in Usagi Yojimbo. Maybe it's just me, but they seem short compared to the stature of the characters. Is there a reason for this? Were katanas that length in the period that your story takes place?
I can't wait for Yokai. Keep up the great work.

Whoops. Didn't realize we had a thread for this. Todd, if you'd like to delete the question I posted for Stan at http://www.usagiyojimbo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4793 and re-post it here, that would be fine.
Again, sorry for the inconvenience.

Do you enjoy watching the TMNT episodes Usagi and company appear in?
I love them, but can't stand how Jason Griffith never seems to pronounce Gennosuke's name correctly.
Also, considering the Japanese nature of your otherwise American comic, do you do anime cons?

Hmm... how to best express myself in signature form?
Well, I'm back. I need to get back into the series, been so long since I read volume 7.
