EPIC TMNT CROSSOVER!

Post by SakuradaKaoru »

I'm not getting my hopes up about Usagi Yojimbo appearing in it tho. But the inevitable jokes about Krang looking like an Utrom will be funny.

The 2003 Turtles meet the 1987 Turtles! Coming to the CW4Kids this month!

Sing with me!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Heroes in a half-shell
Turtle power!

They're the world's most fearsome fighting team (We're really hip!)
They're heroes in a half-shell and they're green (Hey - get a grip!)
When the evil Shredder attacks
These Turtle boys don't cut him no slack!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Splinter taught them to be ninja teens (He's a radical rat!)
Leonardo leads, Donatello does machines (That's a fact, Jack!)
Raphael is cool but crude (Gimme a break!)
Michaelangelo is a party dude (Party!)

Hmm... how to best express myself in signature form?

Well, I'm back. I need to get back into the series, been so long since I read volume 7.

I like the old character designs for the turtles a lot better. The new ones look so angry.

The originals (as in the b/w comics) were always angry... I prefer the most recent designs, they are the closest to the original comics.

I just wish I was more of a morning person. D:

And it's not like I can have the TV on all night, because then the person who lives in the apartment below mine would probably complain.

Well, my preference probably has a lot to do with the fact that I grew up with the old designs and I never read any of the original comics until very recently. "Angrier" character designs might have suited the original comics, but I don't think that they fit well with the animated version.

Due to Union/Non-Union problems, 4Kids could not get the original 1987 series voice actors.

Here is a video featuring the replacement voices for the Turtles, Shredder, and Krang.

I love the 2003 series, and I love how they look better! :D

Though in that picture they look kinda square-ish...

That's because it's the Back to the Sewers designs sans the pupils.

While I'll admit I wasn't a huge fan of the 80s cartoon (see above, I was a purist b/w comic fan back then!) I did watch it, and this certainly has some promise so far. Hopefully the rest of it carries forward in the same vein. Probably means I'll have to download it though...!
