"We all know Light Yagami is the best character in Death Note, right?
I mean, he does a better job of getting rid of criminals. The justice system puts them in a metal cell for a few years and then lets them out in the hopes that their time in prison changed their ways. The filthy law-breaker then proceeds to commit more crimes. How inefficient.
He's also the most attractive one next to Misa, and who could possibly hate a person with zero tolerance for the existence of lawbreakers? Under Light's righteous reign, the world would have become a much better place. ^-^
I even stopped reading and watching Death Note after I read that Light gets defeated and dies.

Wait Light die!? OMG you ruined Death Note for me, how can I live oh the humanity!!!!
Mehhh I feel most Deathnote fans are not playing with a full deck. It was an ok manga, but I have read better. 20th Century Boys and Monster both by Naioki Urasawa are two that come to mind.
