Well Yes,Went to Prom tonight,
Well..e and Amanda and Danielle were to meet our groupies atthe Squeare, and the Squeare I dident know- Was for Prom :dates:- and in every pic I wanted to get ino with my firends, I couldent because I did not have a date- and being the little emo person I am- I tryed not to show myself upset, but I was, because everyone in my group had dates, but me.-

once I replaced my makeup and such- I got one comment about my dress, but it was by a lady, it was the nicest thing I had to hear all night-

And the evning was all peachie, I danced and such with my firends and we all had a great time- except for the girls talking about me- and purposely stepping on my trail and putting something in my drink- And Finding that the guy I was :Spoz: to go to prom with lied to me and said he wasent going, and comes to see , He took his Ex- instead of me :his olriginal date:- and dident bother to tell me or anything, he probubly dident evin relize my excestance- and no- I dident not dace the last dance, and it was not what I exspected it to be-

I hope, from what you wrote, that you have at least some good memories from the evening, and that it wasn't all a disappointment.

I will do that- Yea after i discoverd someone put something in my drink that so just pised me off and I wanted to leave, because I was scard it was some kind of something not cool LoL- But a lot of my firends did know that Heith did ditch me, and they told me to go and tell him off- But I dident , I wont stoop down to that levil of pitty, and do such a thing-

I did eventually getto have pics with my firends- and did dance with my other firends, So the evning wasent that bad besided what was said- And Tommorow at school I will say nothing to Heith about anything, and If he wants to talk- I'll just say theres nothing to discuss, and go about my way, I have a little more important things to worry about then how others night went, and if others ask about my evinnig I'll tell them it was fine.

I'll share pics of the night really soon ^^ glad you lissiond, and I did learn some things about people that night. <-- Who yourreal firends are, and ones who bye you lots of water when you feel a stragne reaction <-- I told my self I was goingot have a good night <-- and besided what i said hear- will not be minched outside ehar I guss not lol <-- thanks for reading though ^^

I have no objection to Usagi's posting. To the contrary--I'm flattered that she regards us enough as friends to expose her feelings. I think we can support a fellow Board member.

However, I agree with you that it can get out of hand, though I don't think she's yet crossed that line. Her postings have actually been a nice change of pace for me.

I guess I can relate to Usagi in that I have a teen daughter and I've been involved in the committee planning her 8th grade dance. Hannah starts high school next year.

If no off-topic comments are allowed, and no-one seems inclined to contribute to on-topic postings, does that mean we will only get to read one or two messages a month?

I, personally, enjoy reading Usagi's postings, as well as the few on-topic postings made. The topic is supposed to be Usagi Yojimbo, Feudal Japan, Chanbara films, and other possiblely related things, etc. Sometimes I wish there was more on-topic communication on the board, but I watch repeated attempts to start threads die off from lack of response...

Thit is also supposed to be a message board for fans of Usagi Yojimbo and his creator Stan Sakai... The nicest guy in comics (so everybody says!). Try to emulate the sensei and be nice, at least in the dojo...

Off-topic messages don't crowd out the on-topic messages, so there is no reason to complain, and any message which is off-topic can be easily skipped, no-one has a katana to their neck, forcing them to read every posting...

I've stated before that an additional section to the dojo message board devoted to off-topic posting of fans might be a solution to make everyone happy, but that is up to the administrator of the site???

I do have my own message board, but i have taken it down for a while and cleaning it out because of the large amount of Porn on it- ( and I really dont want a rep on a mb for pron >.<) I "Know" My posts are off topic, but i try to also keep on topic as well, I think I am not doing bad. i post up these topics to the Dojo because, Unlike other boards, there are adults hear, who will give you advice, and really, I do take there advice, and Im a girl, I cant help but complain about my mishaves in my life. Iv been hear for a while now, and feel comfertable getting advice from the comun. and If personally to someone, I do Privet them.

Posting to the board, relives stress for me, because to me it not a massive personal matter, and your adults, I dont think your going to act like children and be stuped.

I am sure If I do wrong hear, I will be noticfied, but Im sorry if I Dont post as much On topic as I should, but my posts about Japan and Kimonos, and sandles, they are just as on topic I think to Usagi Yojimbo, because it talkes about basically the anatamay of a culture bringing.

And also, Im notthe only one who posts off topic things, Iv had this befor with "The passion" Post"-

I try to respond and talk with the UY comun as I can relate to as much as uY as I can, and alot, Im the one who askes questions. (like with Usagi's Sensei ^^ He rules)

And I know Im really young to really be talknig to older people, but Ishare the same intrest in this as anoyone else, resther Be UY or Japan. <--- Usagi has really been a big insparation in my art and Hisroty learnings, of jaoan, and the Knowlkage these people spill out hear, is intreging to me and I apreetiate their sharing of Knowlage with me, so I may learn from them.

Well, I might aswell tell you how the week has gone, And it wasent all that bad , acctually.

Alot of people came up tp me and complemented on me, telling me how outstanding I looked, evin without a tan, (I think I was the only one who wentto the Prom without getting her tan and nails done LoL)

And alot of people said I looked the best out of everyone there, Evin the ones who were mean to me said something really nice (oh, how two faced of them)- I was embarresed by this because I really dont think myself a Very Pretty person-Size wise I do not fit in at all.

A lot of the guys said they were scardto dance with me becasue I make them looks big, or fat compaierd to my size, and that made them feel unconfertsble.<-- But these were from my guy firends, I am a funny person, so it is hard to get me upset over my body size.

And Heith saw me in the hall way, and the firstthing he said was I looked outstanding, at prom- I was so shocked in the back of my head I thought he dident evin ecknowlage I was evin there!, he said he was sorry, He exspalind himself- Saying that Meggan told him i was not going- and thats why we got really distant from one another, and he said he was shocked to see me there , and felt really bad, and he said hewas so sorry.

We cleard up alot of matters, some I admit, goingot my head. But Im not goingot really worry about this anoymore, its in the past. We arestill talking as useual, But I am glad he did see me...I just hoped he might have atleast stood up to his Ex or something.

And no, I did not go to any after Prom party, I hurd the next day alot of things went wrong, and people drunk and stuff, I am glad I just went home. I dont really hang around a party people types anyway. I have to much resonceiblility to really be gonig out and doing that type of thing,< So I went home and watched Pulp Fiction...that move makes you feel like a bad BADWORD mother BADWORD, and yea....I did ^^ *giggles*
