My next clue would have been:

It must be cold there, because the people don't wear cotton briefs. They wear DOWN UNDERwear.

I will be a guest a MidiFur in Melbourne. It takes place in December, which is late fall in the Northern Hemisphere but late spring in the south. Sharon may be accompanying me, as we've wanted to visit Australia for a long time. We will probably also spend a few days in Sydney.

I guess this is my year for funny animal conventions. I will be going to Anthrocon in June, Eurofurence in September, Antheria in October, and now Midifur in December.
