General discussion about Usagi Yojimbo, the comics, the stories, the characters, collectibles, TV appearances, Stan Sakai, Space Usagi, Nilson & Hermy, and all other related topics.
I just talked to Sergio, and he will also be going to Motor City.
You might remember the last time we were there, Sergio did a Groo T-shirt design for the convention. This time there will be a Groo/Usagi shirt, providing we can find the time to draw one.

Wonderful news, all around!!
A Motor City dinner might be nice. Maybe that Japanese restaurant is still in business.
I believe Cherry Blossum was the restaurant we went to last time. It is, indeed, still in business
Very nice MerryRogue! The camera images were nice (It would help to have a external mic but no problem hearing with headphones) and it was amazing to hear that Golden Apple does 120 - 200 shows a year. Nice photos too. Thanks for covering it. It was fun to see your perspective. Peace, maka
Indeed, we're only shooting with a FlipCam and we could really use an external mic, as you mentioned. It seems like it doesn't pick up much outside of 5 feet away unless it's particularly loud.

Nooooooo! What would an Atlanta dojo member have to do (short of enrolling at SCAD) to get into this presentation?

WILL IT BE FOR SALE ON THIS SITE????
*ahem*
I mean, will we have a chance to buy it ourselves, without having to go to the convention?

Outside of enrolling at SCAD, would it be possible to get together for dinner, breakfast, a drink, anything? I am excited that you will be in Atlanta, but it would be very disappointing if there were no opportunity to meet you here.

It is still very early, and I don't even know what dates I will be in Atlanta. I have two other conventions I want to do in October, so I will not be in Georgia for very long.
Once dates are set, I will ask if it is all right to have a couple of guests sit in on my presentation, or maybe the faculty will arrange a signing somewhere.
Providing the trip to SCAD is in mid-October, I will be at the Long Beach Comic-Con over Halloween weekend. I will probably be doing a presentation there.
I will be signing at Things From Another World at Universal City, Hollywood, for Free Comic Book Day, May 1. I'll post details later, but it will be in the late afternoon. They will also have 14 plushies, a few days before the official release. I also plan to give away copies of one of the Fantagraphics Color Specials.
