Poster from the double-gatefold covers of UY #46 & 47

Post by digulla »

Hello,

While reading the discussion about the contents of Shrouded Moon, I wondered if it would make sense to create a (large) poster from the covers of UY #46 and #47?

What do you think?

The covers featuring the kite festival were offered as a combined poster last year I believe, although the poster was mid-sized. Stan, are there any plans to re-release this in a larger format?

Can I still buy this somewhere?

I don't think they were ever for sale. I got mine at the Dark Horse booth at last years Orlando Megacon. They had a stack of them. You could take posters, fliers and bookmarks for free. Maybe the actual Dark Horse site has some.

The covers were combined to make a 33 inch long giveaway poster a couple of years ago. I was given about two hundred of these posters and offered them to Dojo members for free including postage and got more than 400 requests. These were sent to members around the world from Tazmania to Turkey.

Except for a couple in my files, I'm out of them. I believe Dark Horse has also depleted their supplies. However, Phil if you send me your address I'll see if I can find one for you.

Stan, you da man. Bust Aaron has done a great job on the site. If you can't find a copy I'd be willing to part with mine.

Poster

I received mine a while back and framed it (yep, it's that good). I seem to remember putting my name on an E-mail list for the give away, and then Stan sending an E-mail shortly thereafter closing the doors as the response was so overwhelming. I see them pop up on Ebay from time to time for around $15 - $20

P.S. Thanks Stan! I love mine

Ebay has them

As of today (1/29) there are three of them posted on Ebay, though I don't believe that any of them are autographed. All three are sitting around $3 -$4.00 right now.
