Indie Edge

Post by Stan Sakai »

I am featured in this month's Diamond Previews Indie Edge section. Basically, they give a brief bio, some current works, book recommendations, and a photo (at Himeji Castle).

My recommendations were Ben Costa's Pang the Wandering Shaolin Monk vol 1, Chris Schweizer's Crogan's Vengeance and Crogan's March, and David Petersen's Mouse Guard. I also wanted to recommend Shane and Chris Houghton's Reed Gunther, but, alas, Diamond does not carry the series.

I did not know about it being on-line. Too bad they did not feature art for Chris' Crogan series. Of the three, Pang and Crogan could use more exposure.

I actually prefer the on-line version because the photo of you at Himeji Castle is not half obscured by another image like it is in the print version of the catalog.
