First Spot story

Hello UYDers,

My daughters sick today. While we are waiting for her appointment, I read her the first spot story arch (The Tower, A mother's Love, The return of the Blind Swordpig) in UY Book 3. At the end, she started crying a little bit.

"I like spot and I'm going to miss him."

"Well, he comes back again in a later story."

"Yes, but probably not for a while."

I guess I better not read book 4 to her or she will seek Mr. Sakai out and call him some bad name for killing spot. :)

I have to say, every time I read a "A Mother's Love" it moves me. One of my favorite Usagi stories.

yeah, I know what you mean...I felt the same way ever since reading it for the first time....I think I still wouldn't imagine the mother killing her own son in the end even though I already KNOW better...;)she just seems so patient and understanding of the ways things have come thus far....
great story!

Don't forget that later on Jotaro adopts a tokage and names him Spot!
