I received advance copies of the new edition of UY Books 8, 9, and 10. This is a second edition, as opposed to a printing, in that there were actual changes in the book. The biggest improvement is the addition of the story notes. The art was shot digitally from the originals, as opposed to printing from the negatives. I don't think the printing is any better, but the new books are on very white stock, so looks sharper.
Exciting! I was frustrated when I started reading Usagi a year or two ago that volumes 8-11 were unavailable for reading. In the meantime, however, I found a signed hardcover 8 on ebay! Just need 9-11 now (to read - many more in HC).
i have ordered them in june and am happy to hear they are about to be released now....I love to read them all but I am especially excited about shades of death because of the ninja turtles crossover...
