I'm glad to hear that Groo Vs. Conan is actually coming out in the near future since I've been looking forward to that for a long time.
Mark mentions here that some of the quotes attributed to him in the article were actually said by Sergio and vice-versa:

I caught the last ~15 minutes of this panel.
Mark said that people sometimes take his comments literally. People have hired translators for Sergio because Mark once wrote that Sergio can't speak English. Sergio spoke Spanish that who time so the translator wouldn't be fired.
Mark said he wanted people to know he really liked Sergio. Groo fans used to write in that he needed to nicer to Sergio (the fan was taking Mark's comments Groo Mail too literally). Mark took time to write to that fan tell him how Sergio doesn't speak any English and doesn't even draw the comic.
Sergio said there was only one time Mark and him had a disagreement. Sergio wanted to have a story where the sheep eating cows (or cow eating sheep, my memory fails me). Mark said you can't do that. Tongue in cheek "no animals will be harmed in this book. People, yes. But no animals."
Peace, maka
