About a year or two ago, I was able to get my hands on some of the old Usagi Yojimbo metal miniatures (thanks, Stan!). I primed a few right away, and then...not much. But, I have now, finally, completed the first of them. Naturally, it's good old Usagi himself. Because I'm a technophobe, I have no idea how to upload photos to this forum, but I am providing a link below to a facebook photo album I created for anyone interested in checking them out. Right now it's just Usagi (and a 30mm luke skywalker I'm working on), but soon he will be joined by his pals Gen, Tomoe, and Kitsune. These are done all in artist oils, so, that plays a part in why they take me so very long to complete (for anyone wondering how I could hold myself back from finishing up Usagi ages ago)

The paint job looks awesome!
But the figure itself looks like someone put Usagi's ears on an orc!

The company which made these was located here in Michigan and use to run a small chain of comic shops, including the one which I was frequenting when I first started reading Usagi Yojimbo back in the early 90's.

Cool! I'm famous now! Lol. The sculpt is not all that accurate to Usagi, but, in some ways, that makes the painting more fun. And this way, when my finished piece looks nothing like the original, I have someone else to blame!

So, which Usagi charact should I do next? I'm leaning towards Gen. Not only is he one of my favorites, but I think it is also the best sculpt in the entire line...
If not Gen, however, I am considering Tomoe and Jei.
Now if only I had a little tokage. As Stan knows, Spot is a family favorite in my home.
