Hello UYDers,

This is one exhibit at my favorite museum in Japan and the world. I like it because there are classic modern sculptures (Miro, Picasso, Moore), Japanese artist and mixed in with all this interactive sculptures in beautiful green (the Japanese are very good at gardening) Hakone. The had this tower made of stained glass that you walked a spiral staircase up three stories of stained glass: that is how to visually show someone who is deaf what music is like. Here's a really fun and beautiful sculpture that kids can interactive with and "breathes" the more you interact with it.

Japanese artist Toshiko Horiuchi-MacAdam is considered one of Japan's leading fiber artists, using knitting and crochet as the foundation for much of her work. Her website explains that she specializes in "creating large, interactive textile environments that function both as imaginative and vibrant explorations of color and form, at the same time as providing thrilling play environments." That is exactly what we see here at the Hakone Open Air Museum in Hakone, Japan.
