It's post SDCC time again, which means there are updates to my Flickr groups for Usagi, Mouse Guard and TMNT. More things bought! But here's just the new Usagi stuff... although I have to include the last one, even though it wasn't drawn by Stan, because it's wonderful and Stan loved it too heh...

Nice. I like David Petersen's Usagi drawings.

The picture of him holding the Tokage is excellent, very cool indeed.

Catching up on your collection, Mayhem. So much wonderful work. I have a piece by Petersen from the first volume of Mouse Guard which I won a few years back at the CBLDF auction at SDCC. I'll show that off here as soon as my new framing project comes back from the framer.

After having the Bridge of Tears tip-in original art for about a year now, I finally bit the bullet and took it in. I knew it was going to be expensive to frame up because I wanted the full linen, double matt, large frame treatment for this wonderful piece that I was gushing over last year.

Again, thanks for connecting with me on that, I feel truly fortunate to have the opportunity to own this amazing art. The wait is excruciating, especially since I never like leaving my original art with the framer anyway.

I will open a thread with my extremely modest collection of original art as soon as I get the frame back...

All my original artwork is now up on Comic Art Fans...

Haven't posted in here for a bit, that's because I hadn't gotten anything new Usagi wise... until quite recently heh...

Another couple of pieces from the same source... just look at the date on one them... 1985! Never seen a pre 1986 piece before... I feel privileged...

If you noticed an auction on HA, you might notice who won it now...

I am not surprised that you ended up with this piece, and for a relatively nice price too. :)

Aside from the usual h/c, I only got one major thing from Stan this year, but it's a bit of a doozy ;)

I like the vegetarian sketch. I remember seeing it somewhere before.

Oh and Happy Birthday.

dude, you've got the nicest Usagi collection around. i would venture to say the only Usagi collection in the world that can beat it, is the collection of comic pages Stan has stashed away in his Usagi closet, lol.
