I downloaded the on Friday. I had a weekend retreat so I couldn't play it. When I got home tonight, I asked the kids (age 13 & 11) if they had a chance to play it. They said they finished it three times already! I guess they started playing on Friday and finished it sometime today (after they powered up Usagi's strength).

I asked the girls to give a mini review:

"I like how they had ryo to earn better attacks, defense or life points.
I like how they have a specific goal to accomplish.
I like the monkey guys, the woodcutters.
And they are really realistic looking (like the comic book)
I like destroying monsters."

Angela said, she wishes they had more maps to play different adventures. That would be a good in app purchase.

After they go to sleep, I'll give it try.

Pretty fun little game. I've been playing it on the subway for the past few days, and it makes time fly.
I'm not a huge gamer, but the graphics on this are really nice for such a small app. The backgrounds in particular are nicely done. Makes me want to see an animated Usagi series. I do like that the characters have no voices, only word balloons. Voices added to favorite characters always sound wrong when they don't match the voice you imagine in your mind, especially with characters you've been reading since the mid 80s.
