Sharon will, hopefully, be discharged from the hospital tomorrow. We are all looking forward to having her home again.

Sharon's white cell count, which they use as a guideline to look for infections, is down to about normal. The doctor hopes that she will be released from the hospital late tomorrow, after the last of her IV meds and withdrawal of her PICC Line. Wednesday at the latest. We are all looking forward to her homecoming.

It is great having Sharon at home. We have to adjust to her new meds schedules and procedures, such as administering an IV through a PICC line.



I sent in the wraparound cover for UY: Senso #5 (of 6). I am about 3/4 complete with the story.



Rough pencils with a 2H lead. I'm just making shapes here.

Inked with a Kooh-i-noor Art Pen, which was discontinued about 20 years ago.

I use Badger Black Opaque ink, old formula. This was reformulated a few years ago and the new one is terrible. I still have a few bottles of the old ink.



Details and been added using a brush to spot blacks and my Kooh-i-noor pen.

Sharon is back in the hospital with another bout of pneumonia, and low sodium. She just finished antibiotics a couple days ago and had her PICC line removed yesterday. Prayers are appreciated.

We were transported from our local hospital to the hospital Sharon was in before--the one at which she spent two weeks this month. Siting in the waiting room.

Sharon's eyesight and hearing are getting worse. She had written that she would like to see, hear, and talk again. We still do not know when she will be released from the hospital. We are taking it one day at a time. I went to see her oncologist today, and was going to spend the rest of the day drawing. Hannah and Sharon's sister visited her and Sharon told them she would like me to be there as well, so I spent the rest of the day at the hospital until visiting hours ended. I will see her tomorrow as well.

Sharon's numbers were good today, but she was very lethargic. They took another x-ray, and detected more fluid in her chest. It really concerns me that the fluid collects so quickly. They drained 0.6 liters just last week.
