Exciting day for the UY Auctions!!

Post by Crookerdog »

Congrats to all who won pieces today. It has been a good day for Fund raising.

I got the EXACT tow pieces I wanted and some of the other ones went for HIGH dollar. Enjoy everyone!!!!

God bless to Stan and Sharon.

Well, the suspense is killing me! Which two pieces did you get?

Did you pay big bucks or did you outbid me by a dollar?

:D

(So far, I am 2 for 38 for completed auctions, and I have been outbid on another 11 items in the current round.....)

Indeed, which two did you get? ;)

I won the Jason Ho auction from this round, but missed out on a couple of others due to going too high. The Mignola auction didn't quite match the heights of Jeff Smith...

Based on what I've attempted to win (ie. placed at least one bid in), I'm 3/9 so far, so 33% heh. I'll probably be focusing on the Michael Dooney piece from the current lot.

I got the Greg Luzniak and the Guillaume Chaffart. AND I thought I got them for a fair price.

With the full color original cover I snagged a couple of months ago I think I am done. I have my trifecta, so to speak.

Saw that the pieces went out in the mail Yesterday so i will probably get them by the end of the week!!! Can't wait!

I am kind of digging the Carlos D'anda from this round.

The James O'Barr should fetch a nice price. Not my style but……

This has been fun I am VERY late to the game.

Dear Joe,

Those are very nice pieces. Congrats again!

Mayhem, the Jason Ho piece is wonderful too. 33% is a great percentage. :) Congrats!

Thanks... I was bidding on the Luzniak piece as well (HUGE fan of Metroid Prime among other things) but it got too high for my budget. Especially as I've bought two other pieces so far, am trying to save for San Diego, AND probably looking to buy a couple of limited posters and original comic pages next month...

Man, this has been fun!!! Won another one tonight (Carlos D'anda) and I could't be more pleased.

I have to admit that I am going to be selling off SEVERAL (some framed, some not) of my Sakai originals in order to pay for the framing of the new pieces. If you are interested please contact me at crookerdog@msn.com.

I will Ebay list the ones that are not bought from me directly with both a bidding price and a buy it now price that will include a defined donation that will be delivered to Stan himself.

I will post the pieces in the next month or two….(DO NOT want to compete with the auctions that have been so successful thus far). I do not know when these auction are going to end but have promised myself that I am NOT going to buy another one. (promises are made to be broken!!)

Keep buying guys!! This is an exciting time that is heeling GOOD people.
