San Diego 2014--what to bring

Post by Stan Sakai »

It's about three weeks before the San Diego Con. Is there anything specific you would like me to bring--a particular book or comic, print, art, etc. You can post it here or PM me.

New things at the con will be: UY Book 28 trade and HC, The Sakai Project, UY Sketchbook #11, a signed print from Dark Horse, and the new Color Special. I will also have the Nilson and Hermy collection and the 47 Ronin book.

If you are in Europe, I refer you to Mayhem's posting.

For myself, everything in that list bar the colour special; I believe my comic shop is getting me that heh. I presume most of those will be on the table anyhow.

Dear Stan,

What is the Dark Horse Print this year? Is it the Sakai Project cover? Thanks. Peace, maka

The print is the cover for the UY Saga--the one with the arrows.

Hi Stan, will you be taking mail-orders for the sketchbook this year for those of us who can't make it out to SD?

Hmmm . . . let's see. The sketchbook, UY HC 28, signed print, and muffins -- those blueberry muffins

Only quasi-related, but are we going to do something Dojo-ish this year, like a photo? And Stan, are you doing any panels this year?

I know the Dojo has been a little wonky as well, and wanted to make sure you got my PM.

Hello Stan, please bring at least 1 UY Sketchbook #10 for me. Mayhem will be so kind, to get #10 and #11 for me.

Thanks & Greetings

May I ask if there is a USA dojo member who is going to SDCC and would be willing to pick up and mail UY/Stan Sakai items to me? If so, would you post here or PM me? If not, I sure I can wait until I get a chance to see Stan at some S. California signing. After all, delayed gratification is supposed to be a predictor of something good. ;)

Yes, I will be taking mail orders for sketchbooks after the con--probably in August. If you are in Europe I suggest you take advantage of Mayhem's generous offer.

I have the following trade paperbacks in very limited supplies. If you need one of these please reserve a copy as I expect to sell out of these quickly. These are all out of print, and are not expected to be reprinted for a long time. These are cover priced, rounded to the nearest dollar.
Book 8
Book 12
Book 15
Book 17
Book 22
Book 25 (not sure if this one is OP, but I only have a few left)

I do not have copies of the following at all:
Book 11
Book 13
Book 18
Book 24

Let me know if you need any of the foreign editions.
