On another thread "...reports on last request" There have been many of you requesting to watch the comic con footage since many were not able to attend the convention.

I'm happy to say I will probably put the comic con footage up for a day or two by the end of next week. I'm not putting it up right away to give more people a chance to see this announcement.

There are a handful of people on this site that have requested to see it on the other thread. I will PM you a code to watch the footage so there's no need for you to request it again on this thread. I only ask for you to "like" the Lintika films FB page and write a comment about it. Lintika films is also the place to get updates about the movie. I need to give out codes too for viewing purpose since I am thinking of sending it out to festivals and there are rules for showing your footage.

People who did attend comic con should watch this footage too since the footage shown at comic con was too dark since the projector in the room was not calibrated for my movie. So please remember, i am only giving out codes for people that have requested to watch the film. If we get a bigger request then we may give out one code for all dojo members but for now there have been about 8 people in the past week who have requested to watch the film. The plan is to release it next Friday and Saturday.

Thanks all

Thanks Maka!

Here's the blurb from the Lintika Films Facebook page.

Lintika Films
A Friday night online release of the Usagi Yojimbo short film, "The Last Request"??? Whuuut??? Yup, unlike you cool kids, we weren't invited to go out for Friday evening drinks, dinner, or debauchery. So, we decided to prep the Usagi Yojimbo short film that we presented at Comic Con and shoot for a late Friday night release. Stay tuned for an 11:00PM (hopefully sooner) release of the short film!

Hi guys,

The link is finally up after some technical difficulties. Hope you like the movie. We're speaking with investors right now so please make comments on youtube and if your on FB please like the Lintika Films FB page. We are trying to show the investors that there is interest for an Usagi movie so please pass the link around. Here's is what was posted on the Lintika Films FB page. Hope you guys like the movie.

Usagi fans, by popular demand, here's the latest version of the proof of concept short film that we created and presented to Stan. This is the short film that allowed us to procure the feature film rights!

It's a still a work-in-progress and about 90% complete. We're currently working on the sound mix and refining the film for the DVD release which will include behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, deleted scenes, and interesting details regarding the making of the short film.

Just watched the film, roel, and it positively blew my mind. While it was an amazing adaptation of Usagi (I loved all the cameos at the end, as well as the Zato Ino wanted poster!), what's most impressive is just how high quality this piece is as stop animation in its own right. Has anyone EVER successfully pulled off martial arts combat via stop animation previously? This was...amazing.

And all the minor environmental details at the beginning -- the blustering rain storm, the crackling fire, even the realism of the fish on the cutting board.

We always knew you had talent, roel, but this is extraordinary. You're destined for greatness
