turns out my copy of red scorpion is a somewhat quirky mis-print...
the actual story is complete, in order & all there, just not in relation to the rest of the book.
has anyone else encountered this before?

So the tip in plate is the wrong way around, and the endpaper is upside down? Weird...
With a breeze comes a storm, but then you'll all be washed away...
Re: mis-printed red scorpion s&n hc
pretty much, yeah...
oh, and the foil embossed front cover is on the back (and upside down)
like I said, the actual story is all there and intact (and I don't have to keep turning the book up and down to read it!) which is the main thing!

Weird.
So... the cover and interior story are the same orientation (?), but the endpapers are upsidedown (?)
Does that make this a curiosity or a highly-sought-after-one-of-a-kind collectible?

Seems that a Komori-Ninja sneaked into the production- spying, reading the story while hanging on the ceiling, putting it back...

I'm gonna go with curiosity, maichan.maichan wrote:Does that make this a curiosity or a highly-sought-after-one-of-a-kind collectible?
had it been one of the ones that Stan had drawn on the back of the tip-in...
I can't think of a better explanation, Jens!TigerRider wrote:Seems that a Komori-Ninja sneaked into the production- spying, reading the story while hanging on the ceiling, putting it back...

My copy did not have this printing error. Maybe you have a gem.

it's an oddity, certainly...saintchuck wrote:My copy did not have this printing error. Maybe you have a gem.
I can read the book in it's entirety, without having to turn it upside down, so that's good enough for me!
(that, and I received an email from amazon this morning telling me that my order has been delayed until october, so I'm glad I crumbled!)
