A forum for trading UY comics, books, and other collectibles. Looking for missing back issues? Want to sell/trade your extra copies of UY? Want to post your eBay auction? Then look no further!
Yeah... I won the "other one" for not much many a moon ago, and the yellow ashcan was thrown in for free (!!!) unexpectedly when I bought a few Usagi related bits off eBay, also an age back. So in those respects, I've been quite fortunate
With a breeze comes a storm, but then you'll all be washed away...

Steve Hubbell wrote:not sure If I plan on bidding. Something about the seller bothered me, his attitude in his feedback comments was off putting. Last one on ebay also sold for a lot more than I really want to pay for one.
The high bidder retracted their bid in case you changed your mind. Currently $19.99.
I know one of these sold for $150.00
Just saw that. Let us know if you are going to bid on it, Steve. I do not want to try to bid against you and I might throw a bid out there if it doesn't go too high and you're not interested.
What if we split it three ways and do a time share?
I was at work all night and this was the first chance I've had to see how the auction went. I knew it would go for more than I could spend at this time, so I didn't even try to bid.
I have the consolation of having both a new Spanish Usagi volume as well as the Spanish edition of the Nilson Ground thumper hardcover. They came in Friday's mail

And congrats to you! The "non-English" editions are a whole other dimension of collecting! I'll leave those completely to you--no worries of me trying to get ANY of those!!!

By the way, where did you get your UYD ID name from? Are you a fan of the pulp story, comic strips, film, TV show, comics or all?
Peace, maka
Thanks! Pretty psyched!
My name actually comes from being nicknamed at birth by my Uncle. He was a fan of the show in the '50's, I guess. My "real" name is actually Steven Rogers, Jr but since I am a "Jr" they did not want to call me Steven and get me mixed up with my Dad all the time.
It was fun when I was the rank of Captain in the Army as I was actually Captain Steven Rogers. Used to get a few eyebrow raises when someone would check my ID.
So, I like to say that I am so cool that even my alias is a superhero!

This went for far less than I expected. I've been watching them as they pop up rarely over the last 4 years. The highest I've seen one sell for was $450, the lowest prior to this one was $150. I have a baby on the way & am so broke
Be more like a Panda. They're Black, White and Asian.

Ahh, good to know. I knew that the last one went for around $150 and that was more than I was willing to pay.
I just put my max bid in and waited and then held my breath once the bidding started to jump like crazy with 30 seconds to go.
Cannot wait to get it in the mail soon!
