Re: Stan Sakai website
One thing I cannot figure out is if the images in the "Art Gallery" that are not listed as "Sold" are for sale? I do not see a price or anywhere to click on them to order them, even when I click the "Read More" tab?
Is it just me? Are these prints actually for sale and for some reason I am not able to see a price or a "Purchase" tab for them?
On the "Shop" tab I can see the shirts, etc for sale with prices but not in the "Art Gallery".
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Where are you trying to sign up? I just did it again using my work email. I used the subscribe line at the very bottom of the home page.BuckRogers wrote:Just tried again from a different computer and still denied with the same error message. Maybe they are smart and do not want me around!Jubei wrote:Alright, I was able to subscribe on my first try.
Are you using the one on the Contact page? I tried that one and got the error message too. So I think it's just on that page where it's not working.

I've been sort of wondering the same thing. The only thing I could guess is people are contacting Stan or the webmaster and making offers or asking prices....BuckRogers wrote:One thing I cannot figure out is if the images in the "Art Gallery" that are not listed as "Sold" are for sale? Re: Stan Sakai website
I believe it's contact the website runner and ask about the artwork. Yes, it would be nice if there were prices displayed however.

Ha! And there you have it! Soemone earlier directed me to sign up via the contact page and that is where I have been trying. That page's contact link does not work but I tried it on the home page at the bottom and it worked the first time (well second actually as I put my email address in the first box not knowing why there were two boxes there!) so I am all set1maichan wrote:Where are you trying to sign up? Yes, I realize it is a new website and they are still felling things out but it would be much, much better if they had prices and "buy" tags on them in my opinion.Mayhem wrote:I believe it's contact the website runner and ask about the artwork. Re: Stan Sakai website
I also sent a message to the webmaster via the contact form on the contact page letting them know about the problem with the "Stan's Email List" request form.BuckRogers wrote:

I sent an e-mail to let them know just in case. EDIT: The e-mail address (info@stansakai.com) was undeliverable so I guess I'll have to patient.
I was able to place my order and pay with paypal (It shows up in my paypal activity as processed) on June 30th. I don't know if it is no longer working. I haven't received the 2 tote bags I ordered yet but I'm in no hurry.
Good luck! Peace, maka

The comment you quoted was from June 13th. I was able to purchase multiple shirts since then. Still waiting on the second one to arrive.Maka wrote:Gaffey wrote:I don't think the shop is actually up and running because I couldn't pay with PayPal.

I was wondering the same thing about those art pieces, they look fantastic (of course) but I couldn't see a price or find how to buy one. They're tempting us, teasing us with something we cannot have!BuckRogers wrote:Yes, I realize it is a new website and they are still felling things out but it would be much, much better if they had prices and "buy" tags on them in my opinion.Mayhem wrote:I believe it's contact the website runner and ask about the artwork. On the other hand, I was able to order two shirts, paid with a credit card via Paypal (I've had issues with Paypal itself and eBay in the past) . The transaction has showed up on my activity list for that card so I guess now all I can do is wait for my Usagi goodness to show up on my doorstep.

Just noticed that the CAM watercolour piece I own is one of those being used on the tote bags!

It is one of my favorite pieces. I am also using it on my business cards and my convention banner (once Jim actually makes it).Mayhem wrote:Just noticed that the CAM watercolour piece I own is one of those being used on the tote bags!
