I have been playing around on the regular wiki, adding a "list of stories" page linked off the main wiki article about Usagi Yojimbo.

Still no where near finished, but it might work as a start to a new Usagi wiki if we can get the old one deleted and a new one set up.

Heya, I might be a little late to the party on this one, but any idea what's broken with the wiki currently? Even the front page seems unreadable through the main interface.

So, what is the plan for the wiki?
Are we trying to fix the old one, or are we contemplating creating a new one?

I don't have specific experience with wikis, but I have set up a few personal websites and servers, and I would be happy to lend a hand if needed.

I believe the old wiki is beyond salvation, mainly because no one has access to the administrative functions on it anymore. I sent Todd an inquiry asking if it is possible to delete the whole damn thing from the server and just reload new wiki software to start over from scratch. Todd replied that he would look into it and let us (me and the mouse in my pocket) know. Hoping this will work because it seems to be the only solution at this point.

Do you have any constraint on the server? I guess you want the wiki to be located on the same server as the forum? (i'm talking about the machine, not the domain)
Otherwise, I can probably create a new wiki on my personal server.

Okay, after getting Stan's blessing at the Boston con, I've started a new wiki at http://usagistudios.wikia.com/wiki/Usagi_Studios_Wikia.

Using http://wiki.usagiyojimbo.com/wiki/Special:SpecialPages to access the old Wiki's pages, and clinking on "view source" on each of the old wiki's pages and then copying the source text into the new wiki, I'm slowing rebuilding everything.

I copied this over to the new Wikia. I've never used Wikia before (though I've used other wikis), so I'll have to learn more about the ins and outs of it.

An actual working Usagi wiki.....

I have one main question, how much would it cost (annually) to run the page ad free?

I would be more than willing to contribute funds towards the cost.

All those ads and videos running on the page make my computer freak out and want to crash, not to mention they burn up my (not-so) smart phone's limited monthly hot spot allotment which I use for running my home computer.

Also, if the page did not have all those ads and videos in the background, some cool Usagi related artwork could be used to decorate the page.

I would also suggest contacting Shaxper at the Usagi Yojimbo Dojo Annex and checking with him about the possibility of using his story summaries which he has created for the forum over there, as well as enlisting his help with the wiki itself.
