What is the history of these swords? Has Sakai written anything about them?

Some of their history is recounted in a story titled "Daisho" from the book of the same name (Book 9). Usagi's swords gets stolen, and the prologue shows a bit about sword making.

I just read Daisho. The history shows that both swords were created and eventually to a boy trainee samurai who was deemed worthy. Will we get to see the "life" of both swords?

I still hope we'll eventually learn how those swords ended up as prizes to be awarded by Lord Mifune. Assuming they were used by one or more samurai prior to this point (as "Daisho" suggested), wouldn't it be important to Usagi to know the story of the person or people from whom he had inherited his "soul"?

Ever since first reading "Daisho," I've wanted to know more!

There is a "secret" to the swords that Usagi does not know about.

If you want to tell us the secret, I'm sure we can all be trusted to not share it with Usagi. :D
