Yes, please. I always loved how Return of the Black Soul had an evil-ified looking Usagi stamp on the back. It was just funny-looking.Mayhem wrote:Something inspired by my trivia contest this week. Anyone just buying the trades won't get to see any of the great art on the back of most of the individual issues. I wonder if there's an opportunity and possible demand to collect a load of that coloured art in a book perhaps?

Re: Usagi Merchandise and Prints!
I would love to see a Usagi Yojimbo Cover Gallery book published. Something which collects all the cover art for the series over the years. It could have all the comic covers reproduced in the original b/w and a second section collecting all the watercolor covers for the collections and omnibus editions reproduced in color.
I decided to take advantage of a discount on the snapfish web-site and made myself a 20 page mini cover gallery book.....

Inspired by a recent post by David Banks on a "custom bound" comic forum.....

WOW! Now I want it too! As usual, your custom projects never cease to impress, Steve.
Have you visited The Usagi Yojimbo Dojo Annex?
Re: Usagi Merchandise and Prints!
Wow. I'm out of it for a while and all of this awesome happens.
I have been longing for a third wave of Roku Toys' statues (I seem to recall that a Neko ninja was a strong possibility).
I would love a fine art print from the 90s style of Usagi, Dragon Bellow Conspiracy-era (I have tried in vain to find another silkscreen that I lost in an ebay bidding war with Mayhem many years ago).
But I can't imagine there would be a lot of demand for either of those.
As much as I'd be keen on action figures, PVC figurines might be more viable.

Even if the breath between us smells of alcohol,
Call it confusion in the best way possible.

Re: Usagi Merchandise and Prints!
We asked for prints, and we got them (4 of them, to be precise). We asked for action figures, and it seems like we're not only getting the ones in the TMNT/Nick leak, but it sounds like we'll be getting some other figures as well, as posted on Facebook:
Looking at the ThreeA website, it looks like they make higher end figures (1/6 scale or larger), starting around $150 and going up to $350. It'll be interesting to see what they do with Usagi. We have a contract now with ThreeA who will be making another round of Usagi figures! We'll post it officially in the future.

I would assume this means RokuToys is out of business.jabba359 wrote:We asked for prints, and we got them (4 of them, to be precise). Wow, that's great news! I can't wait to see what they will make. I've never had a ThreeA figure before, but I've heard good things about them.jabba359 wrote:We asked for prints, and we got them (4 of them, to be precise). I checked out their website too. Pretty high end stuff. I don't know if I will be able to convince my wife that I "need" this.Lobster Johnson wrote:Wow, that's great news! Re: Usagi Merchandise and Prints!
I have an Evenfall strigoi figure from 3A: http://www.worldofthreea.com/catalog/ev ... -astronaut
The figure is cool but it arrived with some of the paint on the hands not totally dry and their customer service has been abysmal. Later strigoi came with a helmet which they eventually offered for sale individually so those of us with helmet-less strigoi wouldn't be left out in the cold. I have had a terrible time getting mine replaced after it broke immediately out of the box.
They make interesting toys and I love seeing Ashley Wood's work come to life but they are a difficult company to interact with - which I find unacceptable given the prices they charge. I'm sure everyone's experiences will vary but that's my two cents.
Hopefully it'll be affordable!

A recent article on Toy News International seemed to suggest that Usagi action figures would be a part of an upcoming TMNT line - I wonder if there is anything to that?

There has been a lot of speculation on this forum and on Facebook about new figures. We are all hoping. Peace, makagoosey wrote:A recent article on Toy News International seemed to suggest that Usagi action figures would be a part of an upcoming TMNT line - I wonder if there is anything to that?

I think a really neat piece would be a Chop throw pillow.

I would love a wider selection of T-shirts. I can never have enough of those!
BTW there are a few unofficial Usagi Tees being sold on Amazon right now. You might want to check it out...

Any chance of being able to get the Hawaii print from next weekend available to us Stan?
