That's a very nice one, but I presume it won't be cheap at the end....

Wow, if they are all coming from the same guy who sold the page I bought, then he's got an incredible collection that sadly has to go for a better and more worthy cause...

I wish I had more money (and HA usually isn't the cheapest place....)

Yeah, I belive they are from the same guy and I hope, he gets enough money.
(I'm really happy that I was able to help him with my previous purchase)

Nothing remains hidden for that long

(although I could see the others when you posted the initial thread, but they weren't showing up in the searches however)

The covers are going to again be out of my price range due to the previous purchase... evidently there are still enough people bidding to keep the prices honest.

The covers are always out of my price range :D
I would love to buy one of the color pieces, but my previous purchase hold me back as well.
And to be honest, I don't like HA very much. They are really helpful, but expensive and not so flexible.... IMO eBay is a much better place for European buyers (but of course Stan's site is the best!)

Interesting fact:
There is the actual cover of Book IV on CAF:
http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiec ... iece=72226

They are very similar, I wouldn't say that the one on HA is a rough :D

David has one of my favorite covers of all time (UY 14). I can't even imagine what the Albedo 2 cover would sell for?

Do you have to become a member of HA in order to bid. Is there a fee to join?

Yes, you have to register and verify your credit/debit card, but there are no fees. As far as I can remember these are the only things you have to do, after it, you'll have the chance to win an Usagi. Good luck! :)

HA is just like any normal auction house (think Sotherbys or Christies), in fact they actually have in-person auctions, phone bidders and internet bidders. Some auctions are internet only though, done through HA Live. There is no fee to be a member of the website, but you will obviously need a payment method available.

And like a regular auction house, you consign the items to them for the purposes of auction. They handle everything, scanning/photographing the items, writing the descriptions, assessing potential value, taking payments from the winning bidders and handling the shipping out. So unlike eBay, you can just submit items for sale and then not lift a finger afterwards. But bidders are subject to a buyer's fee (at HA it's 19.5%) and as seller, you will lose a cut of the winning price to HA as well. That's how auction houses make their money.

It's a little on the high side, but that's what most auction houses charge or thereabouts. eBay is pretty much the only place where only the seller loses out, the buyer pays nothing extra.

Oh my!
These pieces are ugly, you should not bid on them. And I am not at all saying this because I want to get them for myself.

Beautiful things, beautiful things.

Unfortunately, as awesome as these pieces are, they are beyond my current budget.

But if a couple more vintage pieces like these show up for sale before the end of the year, I know what will be on my personal custom made 2018 calendar.....

:D

Yeah, I have 12 awesome images saved already, all chop era pieces, but a few of them are smaller file sizes than the Heritage images.

Speaking of custom projects, I have been working on one which I hope to get done within the next month for a special occasion. If anyone is interested in helping with funding, send me a PM and I will share more details.
