Re: Usagi/TMNT crossover Eastman fanclub version wants list
I learned that the TMNT/Usagi crossover comic will not be at Comic-con. IDW is flying in the 500 copies of the San Diego Con variant (with a Kevin Eastman cover). I think it will be sold at the IDW booth for $10.
The regular edition will go on sale the week after the con. The hardcover is schedule for August or September.

Which version do you mean here Stan, that won't be at SDCC, the Eastman fan club version with the wraparound cover, or your version, or some other version? The release date for the actual issue itself, as you say, was put back a week a little while ago to after the show.Stan Sakai wrote:I learned that the TMNT/Usagi crossover comic will not be at Comic-con. Re: Usagi/TMNT crossover Eastman fanclub version wants list
I believe the only copies of the TMNT/Usagi comic that will be available at Comic-con will be the IDW Convention Variant--the one of the Turtles and Usagi jumping down from the top left towards a bunch of spears.
All others have been delayed from the original July 12 on-sale date. That is a disappointment because I had expected to have both the regular comics and my variant for sale at my booth.

You can remove me from the list as well. I will be going for Stan's exclusive stuff and some other items instead! Thanks thoughMayhem wrote:Bumping this up to make sure everyone on the list is still wanting their copy...

List in the first post updated.
Thanks for the update Stan, sad to hear that you won't have your version of the issue available to purchase at the show. Kyle (Jabba) confirmed the art gallery should have their version, so that makes two I suppose. I'm still waiting to hear back from someone on Kevin's team if their fan club version will be available at SDCC, or just online after the show.Stan Sakai wrote:I believe the only copies of the TMNT/Usagi comic that will be available at Comic-con will be the IDW Convention Variant--the one of the Turtles and Usagi jumping down from the top left towards a bunch of spears. I made sure to stress that the release date had been pushed back to after SDCC when I called the Comic Art Gallery about their exclusive, but the guy was extremely sure they would have it in before the convention. So I guess I'll see.Mayhem wrote:Thanks for the update Stan, sad to hear that you won't have your version of the issue available to purchase at the show. Unexpectedly, I received copies of all the TMNT/Usagi variant comics, though not many. I will be bringing some down to the con. The three retailer incentives are in very short supply, so we will only have a few available.

Great! I'll make your booth my second stop (after the Nickelodeon booth to try to snag some of the SDCC exclusive Usagi figures).Stan Sakai wrote:Unexpectedly, I received copies of all the TMNT/Usagi variant comics, though not many. Great news Stan, thanks for letting us know. By "all the variants", do you mean all ten of them in total?Stan Sakai wrote:Unexpectedly, I received copies of all the TMNT/Usagi variant comics, though not many. So you'll have your version to sell there too?

If you've got a couple of the Diamond Retailer version (#5 on that list, this cover http://tmnt-ninjaturtles.com/assets/TMN ... lusive.jpg ), I'd REALLY be grateful to buy those from you, as that's the only one I don't have a guarantee to get

Yes, I will have all ten covers. However, the retailer variants are in VERY short supply (3-5 copies of each). The Retailer Incentive Variants are the ones drawn by Petersen, Sergio Aragones, and the SD Art Gallery b/w Kevin Eastman covers.

I believe I have all the variants ordered except the two or three that are only being offered at SDCC (yours and the Eastman covers).Stan Sakai wrote:Yes, I will have all ten covers. If you could hold a Sakai Exclusive variant for me for Kyle to pick up, that would be awesome.
A Diamond retailer exclusive Eastman variant issue would be fantastic as well (I had to go look to see which one it was).

If you have a Sakai Signature variant edition you could hold for me as well, I have asked Kyle to pick it up for me also...

Seeing as Kyle (Jabba) has picked up variants for people, then please liaise with him down the line to get hold of them
