Re: Usagi Yojimbo #21 original cover on HA
I meant the one with Usagi standing in the water with his reflection. Jabba picked up the Mondo tentacles print for me so I have all the tentacles I need.
Didn't they want like $2000+ for the Usagi art on eBay.

I am still happy with my B/W numbered print for this, especially since I received it in the mail out of the blue almost twenty years ago from Stan. Came as a complete surprise along with the Dragon print and some other stuff. I have to dig out the letter Stan included and share it here sometime.Gaffey wrote:Still hoping to get the grey sky print for the same price I bid last time. It would be nice if Stan colored some of his leftovers since there wasn't an actual amount of colored versions declared. Then we can all get one.

The ninja piece went for almost $1700, and the horseback piece went for $1200. Both above my current budget sadly. I wonder if the recent Usagi crossover comic has contributed to the sales here?
He lowered the price, then ran it as a normal auction. It finished on $415 a couple days back.Gaffey wrote:Didn't they want like $2000+ for the Usagi art on eBay.

I'm a bit surprised that the ninja piece sold way more than the horseback one, I liked most the latter one. But both of them are out of my price range right now...
And there is a relisting on the site, I'm curious how it will end this time.

The water edge piece has been withdrawn from HA, interesting....
Re: Usagi Yojimbo #21 original cover on HA
I wasn't even aware that it was re-listed. Does that mean that the person never paid the $2270 or they are trying to flip it?
Too expensive for me.

At first, a horse piece was re-listed, than HA changed the lot to the water edge piece (at this point I thought the first buyer hadn't paid it), but today it was withdrawn, so honestly, I have no idea. (I was hoping that this time, it turns out to be much cheaper, hehe

It's listed alongside the gray sky watercolor print.

I heard from Bob, the seller. Because of a glitch in the system, it seemed like it was a lot of two items, rather than single pieces of art. They will re-offer the pieces the week after next.maichan wrote:The image is still there, but click on it and you get this:Gaffey wrote:It's listed alongside the gray sky watercolor print.

Yeah, I noticed that the horse piece "transformed" into the water's edge piece (both had been listed previously) and asked HA which it was. They replied and said it should be the water's edge piece, but were withdrawing the auction due to the possible confusion. It will be relisted at some point apparently. By the sounds of it then, both pieces are not sold and will be relisted.

And the water edge piece is relisted. I think the horse piece is sold (and hopefully paid), because it is among the sold items (every unpaid item was removed from the sold ones). And there are two other Usagi lot (open for bidding next week), I believe those pieces are from Stan himself
